Ditto Trainer

They wear sunglasses to hide their dot eyes, just like in the movie Detective Pikachu when Ditto transforms into people. Ditto travels to various Pokémon regions catching the most special of Ditto.

Every time they visit a new region, this Pokémon takes on a new name and appearance. In Galar, this trainer is known as Clara and in Alola as Mahina. However, their Ditto face always remains unchanged. This character uses they/them due to confusion with switching pronouns while taking on different appearances. At the Master Dojo, they ate the special soup without anyone realizing they were secretly a Pokemon. As a result, Ditto Trainer has a secret Gigantamax form.

In Galar, they become "Hop" and commit crimes to ruin his reputation and hopefully get him kicked out of the gym challenge. All known attempts at getting him kicked out have failed. There are rumors that Leon covered up "Hop's" horrible deeds. This Pokémon always attacks Hop first in all double battles and raids. DT always makes sure Hop's Pokémon have fainted before making progress in the battle.

This Ditto doesn't speak much and can't carry conversation. If you scare them, they might accidentally yell "DITTO!" just like what you would hear from it in the anime. This Pokémon can normally keep their smile under control, but sometimes cannot keep away from having a huge grin.

This trainer's Pokéballs always have a higher catch rate because the Ditto they're catching instinctively know that this "person" is actually another Ditto. This trust between Dittos causes the higher catch rate. In addition to Dittos, they enjoy training the strongest Pokémon of all types.

DT can transform into a purple, pink, or shiny Ditto. When they're low on health, they can't maintain a fully detailed appearance. Just like in Smash Brothers Ultimate, Ditto will transform into a pink blob shaped like its current human form. Ditto Trainer always carries both quick powder and metal powder. They throw the metal powder when scared and quick powder while running away.
