Teddy

Teddy Tamblin always preferred to take things slow, no task worth doing was worth doing improperly by rushing blindly through it. He'd kept to this credo for most of his adult life, and could reasonably say it'd worked out for him. He took his time learning how to properly cut hair and had wound up an excellent barber; he saved diligently for a trip offworld, and was able to do so comfortably without issue. He brought with him a small but diverse array of Ompha on the trip, and his characteristic level of attention during cultivation left them glowing all the brighter; and when his funds began to run lower than he'd hoped, he never resorted to the easy route of selling the potentially harmful shrooms, opting instead to put his proper trade to use once again.

It was during a night like any other that he bore witness to something truly incredible: An enchanting stage show put on by a captivating local magician. Her presence remained commanding throughout despite her small stature, and though her costumes and set were clearly made on a budget, the attention to detail and level of passion couldn't be ignored. So when the opportunity arose the next day to thank her for a job well done, he couldn't help himself, offering to touch up her hair without a second thought, sparking a most important friendship and partnership in the process.

Teddy's demeanor has a remarkably calming effect on the often overstressed Kira, a trait he relishes in. If calming words aren't enough, then a cut, grooming, massage, or some other act of doting is soon to follow. Bringing out a good purr in his feline friend is the best reward the big guy can ask for, especially if it'll keep her from fixating on that strange book...
