Riwal is a charismatic young man, very calm and mature. Actually he often comes off as very aloof: even though he's kind and sociable, he always remains strange and feeling disconnected from people.
He's gentle, and usually manages to put people relatively at ease quickly. Even though he's hardly reachable and very enigmatic, everyone has always at least understood he wasn't mean or looking to harm anyone. He's smooth (and a big smooth-talker), which definitely charms many.
Riwal is focused, and an efficient worker. He's not that bad at multitasking either. He's motivated and a rigorous student. He doesn't refuse to join in parties, evening at the bar, long walk in the countryside or any free-time with others (quite the opposite), but rest assured he keeps track and remains reasonable when needed.
On top of being rather aloof, he can be very unavailable: he takes his time to text back, doesn't really call often. He rarely answers any text right away, except for his close friends.
In fact, and even though he's not quite a terrible, manipulative asshole... Riwal is a pretty bad person. Certainly, he's not ill-intentioned. But he's not looking for committed relationships (of any kind), and he likes to make himself desirable. Flirting hard, bonding, getting close, and swiftly switching to another person of interest within a few months or weeks is just the routine. He's deeply unphazed by the thought of ghosting people or leaving them on read for days with no explanation.

Trivia
- He smokes, but in a relatively reasonable way (no more than 3-4 cigarettes a day).
- His blood is red and black. The black fluids (Eldritch blood) are thicker/gooier.
- It's unclear how many eyes he has exactly (are there any more on his body ?? Arms and legs ?? Torso and back ??)
- His right eyes (the one located on the orbital area of his skull) are damaged (as in they're not here anymore, but saying he's "one-eyed" doesn't apply). Riwal lost them in an accident.
- Some black gooey ooze is occasionally dripping from his eyes injuries: He always carries backup bandages and patches to change the gauze when it gets nasty.
- He takes dance classes.
- His Eldritch blood is literally corrosive sludge. It's most definitely deadly. While it doesn't do much on surfaces (except maybe tingling/burning sensation like acid, or bleaching fabric a bit), please do refrain from ingesting it.
- Most ingestible/injectable drugs do not work on him (see Powers & abilities > poison resistance). Antibiotics do their job, but solid/liquid hard drugs, painkillers, anesthetics... simply don't.
- Volatile molecules affect him normally (gas mask anesthesia, cigarettes, carbon monoxide leaks...).
- He knows how to play a few melodies on the piano, but his register is fairly small.
- He's got a few simps on his dance videos and Instagram pictures. He's satisfied with it.
- He doesn't really use face emojis. Other symbols are casual though (hearts, stars, plants, etc)
- His bedroom in the houseshare is upstair, in what used to be the working office/home library.
- Very soft and poised yet unsettling and dark aes. The cool kids call it 'dark academia'.

- He has both French and British nationality.
- He has Eldritch descent, but put apart spooky eyes and unsettling blood/poison resistance, it doesn't do much. There's no mind-breaking horror hidden within, no sanity-bending nightmare waiting to be unleashed. He's just here vibing.
Powers & abilities
Riwal can see more than decently in the dark. In fact, the question arises whether he sees better in the dark or under the light... You've seen him bumping into furniture in broad daylight many more time than even only stumbling on misplaced shoes in the hallway in the middle of a pitch-black night.
Even tho he's as sensitive to volatile poisons as any other living being, even the most potent poison he ingests isn't a safe bet on putting Riwal out. His resistance to fluid-related toxins (whether ingested or injected) is much higher than average.
RELATIONSHIPS
"Sonyia is very cool company. She's way beyond just fun! A handful sure, but I personally don't mind so I think she's great housemate."
Riwal is very happy to share space with Sonyia. She's fun and makes everyday life entertaining. He understands people not liking her much (honestly that's fair, she's a whole disaster), but he's actually quite the opposite. She's one of the few people who actually managed to dig themselves a place in his life and routine, and she's here to stay for sure.
"He's very different from Sonyia, in every possible way. That's cool tho, he's just as enjoyable to have around. He's a sweetheart, we're lucky to live with him lmao. Super cool housemate and even cooler friend."
Kilali is a very genuine and kind person. He's a great guy to live with, and he always manages to find ways to make things go smooth. Even though Riwal doesn't feel like his bond with the young man is as strong as the one he has with Sonyia, he's quite glad to know that cute robot-and-dinosaurs appreciator.
"I doubt I could forget about them even if I wanted to. They're pretty incredible. Great people to be friend with, if I'm honest."
Cam and Manou are characters of their own. They're striking, radiant, unforgettable, and fairly unhinged. He's known them since highschool, and the 3 of them have always kept in touch ever since. As chaotic and disastrous these two are, they've always been (surprisingly) the most reliable people Riwal has ever met. He knows they got his back no matter what, no matter when, even if means confronting him to unpleasant things (for the best). In return, they know they can count on him as well... and that's quite the VIP privilege.
"A great guy! He's very close to Manou and Cam, so I got to see him many times at parties they organized and stuff. We don't really have much conversation, not in a very meaningful way at least. We're chill though."
From what Cam and Manou say of Nour, he seems to be a pretty great dude. He's very different from the rest of the clique though, much more of an down-to-earth idealist and care-taker. He's very close from the 2 others, but the connection between him and Riwal isn't quite here. Not strong enough to spark a more meaningful bond at least. However, they definitely appreciate each other.
"She's just a very sweet granny to be honest. She's pretty cool, actually renting us the place for a very nice price. Sometimes she comes over to check on some stuff, or get something from the attic storage. She really likes us, it's cute."
Mme. Ackerman is a sweet old lady who happens to own a very old house in the countryside. It's not that far from the nearest city (maybe 20 to 25 minutes of drive on little roads, which is not that bad at all), but it's not very handy for her either. She decided to rent it, and somehow it's now inhabited by 2 students and a streamer. She's very happy about it. They bake cookies when she comes over: it makes her very happy, and it's a good reason to spend some time together every now and then.
