She becomes the bodyguard of Sif at the behest of small farming village in Weirae, who believe Sif to be blessed and scrape together all of their collective savings to hire Valkyrie. She refuses most of the money and takes the job. She's constantly tired of Sif running headfirst into trouble but she's also tough and very capable of taking care of her.
