As the only son to evil, Abbadon has a lot of weight on his shoulders. Many people have very high expectations of him, and he despite not fully understanding why that is the case he happily reaps the rewards of his status. What the hell kind of business does he have looking a gift horse in the mouth?

Personality

Abbadon is a fairly charismatic young demon who prides himself on his clutch ability to tilt conversations in his favor. Despite appearing very sociable and even boisterous at times, he greatly dislikes confrontation and will do his absolute best to avoid it when possible. His confidence is a learned trait, not an innate one, so whenever it is tested he comes out of the encounter mentally and emotionally drained. 

Lore / facts

Abbadon was born to fulfill half of a prophecy stating that Evil  would bear two children. One a human, the other a demon. The prophecy  went as follows: One would be born with beauty and grace that would lure humanity to its downfall, and the other would carry out the whims of  Evil himself, delivering the catalysts for misfortune straight to the  humans in a far more proactive fashion. Every hell-spawn around assumed  that the former would be a human, the latter demonic in nature. Perhaps  an imp of some kind.

...When the two children were created [were  they even born?], the roles were reversed. The demon uniquely possessed scars and markings, indicating the role they would take; the one that most prominently entailed taking on the responsibility of deceiving humanity and leading it to corruption and ruin.

Abbadon undergoes extensive training to ensure he is effective in completing this goal when he's finally let out into the world. This training isn't too dissimilar to training some old royalty went through, learning about manners and politics and how to use a surprisingly vast array of salad forks. The most important out of all these facets, though, is gambling. 

Abbadon first gambled as a young child, when he won a round of go-fish against his father (who had bet two cookies and a pound of raw meat that his son would lose). Since then, he fell into the lifestyle fairly easily, much to his father's delight. Evil allows Abbadon to run amok in casinos all throughout hell in the hopes that he'll eventually use his charisma and expertise at gambling to his advantage, and eventually fulfill his part of the prophecy by getting humans to bet their souls and lives in unwinnable games of chance. 

For now, though, Abbadon is content with living as a prince. He'll confront his responsibilities later.
