Asagao is an accomplished monster rider who adores fluffy and flying monsters. They especially love their Malfestio named Marik who has been by their side since he was a chick. Asagao is profient with a bow and prefers to fight from the sky atop Marik. They love wearing clothes that are lightweight to avoid hindering Marik in flight. They travel far and wide exploring and documenting monster behavior and movements. Asagao is also a relentless flirt especially when it comes to men and women that are taller than them.

Asagao was born in the Soaratorium and raised by their mother Lavanda. Much like her, their favorite outfit utilizes materials from fallen malfestios. Their mother trained them vigorously in hunting arts and despite doing well with a bow they never quite got the passion for hunting. Instead, when a stray rider landed on the Soaratorium Asagao became enraptured by the idea of others that would rather befriend monsters and left with the rider for Rutoh village where them and Marik trained.
