Some adjustments from canon:

-Wyverians exist in different variations across the world. "Old World Wyverians" match the canon wyverian design. They have digitigrade feet with 4 toes, hands have 3 fingers and a thumb, and they have pointed elf-like ears.

-"New World Wyverians" lack pointed ears, have raptor-like feet, hands with 3 fingers and a thumb, and have feathered tails. Their hair is actually hairlike feathers. Some new world wyverians even bare a closer resemblance to their ancestors and have wyvern-like faces and fangs

-Anthropomorphic monsters called "Wyrmlets" also exist across the world and bear resemblance to their feral ancestors. They exist in much the same way as dragonborn in D&D. It is hotly debated whether they are a type of wyverian or something else completely. They are not as common as the other humanoid races and generally prefer to avoid human settlements due to prejudice. Wyverian settlements tend to be more tolerant but it's still uncommon
