In her youth, Keaton was abandoned by many, including her own mother. Most others that she came across either were afraid of her or made fun of her for her mutations. After years of this treatment, Keaton began to grow vengeful. Her dark views on life twisted her into becoming a murderer. Despite this, she'll only kill those who have done her wrong. She may even help others as long as they treat her equally instead of as a monster. One of the few that didn't mock her was a tomcat named Mauru, who she ended up marrying. Even though Mauru is a psychopath, it's clear that he trusts Keaton and truly loves her, despite her devilish appearance.

As the darkness grew within her, it also grew outside of her - she once had ears, but as she commited her dark deeds they transformed into horns.
