Mischievous Snarky Perceptive Dependant Possessive

What do you mean I can't eat them? Such a waste.

Illiandrus is Vaniesa's daughter, and the older half-sister of Ignatia. She is sarcastic, mischevious and has a cruel streak. Despite her natural inclinations towards cruelty due to her dragonic heritige and the fact that she still has urges to do awful things, she tries to do and be good within her capabilities with encouragement from her mother. She's mellowed out somewhat now that she's a young adult, at least when around Vaniesa or others she cares about in some capacity. When alone it's easier to give in to what she instinctively wants to do.

Illiandrus usually takes the form of a young elven woman with long black hair and fair skin. She has naturally purple eyes, but sometimes makes them appear green when around stangers to emulate Vaniesa and draw less suspicion. Very few draconic elements present themselves in her elven form, with exceptions being her slitted pupils and sharp teeth and incredibly sharp fingernails.

She found extremely quickly that black dragons are feared by anyone with any semblance of sense, and while this doesn't personally bother her (at least, most of the time) she's aware it causes trouble for her family and tries to eliminate that however she can, whether through hiding her true form or simply killing anyone causing issues (her prefered way of handling things). She can change form at will, typically keeping an elven form around people, but taking her true dragon form when it's more 'safe' to or when in the heat of a dangerous battle.

She has an incredible aptitude for magic, learning extremely quickly even for a dragon. She is constantly pushing herself to become better whenever she can to hone her skills and become even better at controlling her magic. She takes extreme pride in her capabilities and will happily show off to impress others, although using her abilites for mischief is never out of the question either.

Currently she lives in Amn when not adventuring. She isn't as fond of it as the rest of her family, prefering to wander the city nearby or stay in her own room if she needs to be home, but does like the freedom she finds there compared to Baldur's Gate. She also looks forward to the occasional letters from Nell, as well as putting the advice in said letters to use by practicing her thievery among the many rich who reside nearby. She's at her happiest when traveling with Vaniesa, and later on, Ignatia.

History - Age 0

Illiandrus was hatched from an egg, stolen from a nursery the Cult of Taimat had cultivated. A group of adventurers (namely Vaniesa, Nell, and Sil) were the first people she ever knew. Although she considered Tiamat her mother, Vaniesa was her mom, and Nell was her dad, and Sil was her sister.

While the other two helped as well, Vaniesa took it upon herself to be Illiandrus' primary caretaker. She didn't care that it was a black dragon's "nature" to be naturally evil, she wanted to show that anyone could be good if someone was there to help them along. Illiandrus struggled with understanding morality, the concept of 'good' and 'evil' was something she didn't grasp. She merely did what she wanted to do, but Vaniesa's influence and praise when doing 'good' things helped slowly guide her down the path Vaniesa desperately wanted to believe she could tread.

Growing Up - Age 0-1

Unfortunately, during their adventure one of the people she had grown attached to, Nell, died and she didn't understand why. She grew upset, angry, forever changed by his death. She didn't want to listen to Vaniesa's lessons anymore, she wanted Nell back and would do anything and kill anyone in order to make that happen. Vaniesa discouraged her, insisting that while she knew that Illiandrus was rightfully upset and mourning, there were better ways to handle this. They would go after those that had murdered him, but killing indiscriminately was not the way to do things.

Despite the loss of Nell, they continued on, fighting many battles, many more close brushes with death, and Illiandrus continued to grow and to learn with each day that passed. She became stronger and much more in-tune with her draconic insticts, learning more about the world and about people and morality. She knew she could easily give in to what she wanted to be, but eventually she came to care about Vaniesa and Sil and her desire to keep them safe grew. Over time she found herself doing good things out of habit; a substantial reason was to make Vaniesa and Sil happy, and sometimes it was out of spite, but knowing it made her companions happy gave her a sense of satisfaction.

The Cult of the Dragon was eventually defeated, at least for a time, with the death of the Wyrmspeaker Rezmir. Nell was brought back from the dead to Illiandrus' elation. Their small group was finally reunited... for a time.

Moving On - Age 1-4

It was very shortly after they took down the Cult when they once again seperated, not through death, but life needed to continue on. Nell had a family to return to, Sil had her own business to take care of, leaving only Vaniesa to look after Illiandrus. This suited her just fine, and although she knew the others were fine and merely elsewhere in the world, it was a struggle to adjust to everyone going away. This was made harder when Vaniesa decided to travel to Amn to follow a lead that could potentially help in regards to furthering her knowledge of dragons as well as the Cult.

Things only grew more complicated with another dragon entering the picture. Rukodyne was a metallic dragon, and Illiandrus didn't trust him as far as she could throw him. She felt as though Vaniesa was being stolen from her, just as everyone else had been, and she was torn between keeping her distance and the need to protect someone who was important to her. This grew even harder when Vaniesa had another child, Ignatia. In the end she ended up growing more clingy and trying to take back the attention she wanted, getting her way when the Cult of the Dragon reared its ugly head once more by coming along with Vaniesa.

She should look fairly young when drawn, but not a child; she is an adult considering she is a full dragon and should look like she's in her extremely late teens to early twenties.

She nearly always has purple eyes, although when really needing to blend in she will make them green. The pupils are always slitted regardless of color.

Any draconic aspects are completely optional and not required when drawing her in most circumstances. If being drawn they are typically limited to horns and a tail. She would only have these features to emulate Ignatia.

When fighting in her elven form, she generally uses two Scimitars of Acid Splash. If drawing them, the scimitars are identical.

A majority of the panels of her skirt hide multiple Bags of Holding where she'll keep her adventuring gear, as well as anything she happens to loot and/or steal while traveling.
