Wake Springfoot

APPEARANCE

Wake Springfoot is a half-elf/half-fire genasi with hair made of literal fire that is constantly glowing and flickering, resembling a campfire or torch. Despite being flame and not making sense logically, under closer inspection, the shapes within her hair closely resemble normal hair styles with a distinctive high ponytail and small braids that adorn the sides of her head and dangle from various portions. Her hair is often reflective of her mood and is something she can choose to control in both its glow, shape and whether or not it hurts others who touch it. 

She has tan skin with a sort of golden glow due to her fire genasi heritage. Additionally, she has an array of freckles that splay out across the bridge of her nose, cheeks, shoulders and chest, and although they are randomly placed in various, different sizes, each of these freckles is the perfect shape of a star. Her eyes are golden and glisten warmly under the firelight of her hair. Like most half-elves, Wake sports pointed ears that are typically pierced with stud earrings. Her smile is lopsided with notable buckteeth with a slight gap in the center. 

Wake has a toned physique due to being a ranger, but she isn't noticeably outwardly muscular. She is of average build and height and is light on her feet, relying more on dexterity than strength to survive. 

Wake typically wears beat-up leather armor that looks like it's been passed down a generation or two with a turquoise bandana tied around her neck as the only real accessory.

PERSONALITY

Wake is naturally easy-going, laid-back and is almost always seen smiling or laughing. She believes in giving people the benefit of the doubt and prefers instead to listen to other people's experiences rather than cast judgment from the outset. Furthermore, she values reliability and authenticity in both herself and others above all else. Even so, being the older sister of 4 younger siblings, she's not naive in the slightest and is both very responsible and sensible when she needs to be. This can unfortunately manifest in Wake taking on more responsibility than she is simply capable of and not realizing her own limits.
