Oriole

In a world where most everybody can control some sort of magic, Oriole has what could be considered either a very useful or very boring power; his presence completely nullifies any magic going on in the area. Within a range of about 10 meters, any magic user becomes completely unable to use their powers and any magical energy loses its effect or dissipates. This makes Oriole extremely useful for hunting down dangerous magical creatures and people, as most magic users provide an easy fight when stripped of their powers. However, this ability does not mean Oriole dislikes or disregards magic in any way; in fact, Oriole is extremely envious of magic-users and would remove his power if he was able to.
