Mayfair

Compared to her half-brother Oriole (with whom she was raised with), Mayfair has an equal and opposite power. While Oriole projects an aura that nullifies any magic in the area, Mayfair projects an aura that amplifies magical energy in any form. If she's within 10m or so of a magic user, she serves as a conduit to make their magic exponentially more powerful. However, her aura amplifies random bits of uncontrolled magic, as well, which often causes various strange anomalies in the area around her. Gravity may suddenly stop working, flowers may start talking or everything may spontaneously start on fire. While she often acts like a bit of a showoff with her power (even if these anomalies are outside of her control) she's often quite scared of its effects, especially when things like the latter happen. Because of this she hangs around with Oriole often, whose presence completely eliminates any magic, even if she'd never admit her fear to anyone other than him.
