Bio

Looking back on the event later, Altair would tell you that it had probably been a bad idea. Actually, it had definitely been a bad idea. Oh, well. He was still alive, after all, and now he got to look really cool - how great was that?

The main problem with being a solo amateur scientist was that there wasn't anyone around to tell you when (if!) you were doing something wrong. Not that the eccentric Lykaio cared - it was a lot more fun to be able to do whatever you wanted, whenever, and in Altair's case that was mainly trying to mix different chemicals until they exploded. Good times.

Of course, this was a very risky thing to be doing, and one day an explosion went terribly wrong, leaving Altair purple and glowing for life.

There were many bright sides to this once he discovered that he wasn't actually sick or dying. He looked amazing (the perfect Halloween costume) and it seemed that now radiation didn't bother him at all. He's been spending a lot of his time lately in radioactive areas, trying out brand-new sciencey things that no one else can (safely) attempt.

Ace | apprentice
Now Ace is a youngling Altair really appreciates. The world needs more people who can make big explosions, in his mind, and have fun doing it. He's teaching her the ways of his trade, and she's quite the enthusiastic learner.

Lyra | apprentice
Altair's other assistant and an astronomy obsessed genius. The two of them work together quite well. Lyra is the one who tends to make sure everyone stays safe. Which Altair doesn't mind. Everyone needs someone to stop them from going too far sometimes.
