Evan (Overwatch AU)

Evan is a local florist's assistant and adopted nephew, and a frequent victim of human-on-robot violence. He's very shy and sometimes naively optimistic, but far from ignorant of the darker ways of the world. He hates conflict but will stand up for what he thinks is right and will throw himself on the line to protect those he cares about. He's particularly fascinated by symbolism, especially traditional.⁠⠀ ⁠⠀ Oni saves Evan from being killed by a group of local gangbangers, and while Oni doesn't stop to help or speak to him beyond that, Evan makes a point of trying to track him down to thank him. He succeeds, and they continue to bump into each other unintentionally until a friendship - and before long, an attraction - forms.⁠⠀
