Gentle and soft-spoken, Stanley rarely if ever raises his voice and is not quick to anger. Even when angered, he remains calm and collected. He is very loyal and friendly towards those he respects. When it comes to his friends, he's selfless and will do anything to help.
However, he is not very trusting of strangers and is always suspicious of the motives of others. It is difficult for him to get close to anyone as he always expects the worst. If you break his trust, it's gonna take a long time for him to forgive you. Stanley often appears melancholy and prefers to be alone with his own thoughts. Most of the time, he acts indifferent to his surroundings.

Stanley was born to a rich family. From birth, his parents had big plans for him, deciding that he will continue the family legacy of famous musicians. He was the only child in the family, so they made him work hard, which led to Stanley being very stressed. He was homeschooled, with no 'dull friends' or 'depressing playgrounds' to distract him. They gave and thought him how to use the cello. Whenever he did something wrong, they would hurt him using words. They would call him worthless, a mistake that should have never happened and use words far worse. So he tried his best to not let them down, knowing they've done a lot for him.

  •   His relatives only visited him on special occasions, so he had no one he trusted to talked to. He felt isolated. When he reached the age of 13, a girl he liked revealed that she liked him back. However Stanley's parents disapproved of the pair, so they didn't allow Stanley to visit her. He couldn't see her ever since. But she was stuck in his mind, unsure if there was anyone else like her.

  •   Stanley would always shut himself in his room, practicing and occasionally composing. He reached the age of 21 when he began to perform in an orchestra. He then met a nice musician after orchestra practice that invited him to hang out with her and her friends. He agreed, knowing this was an opportunity to enjoy a night like any normal person. And when he got home, he was in trouble for staying out late. The next morning, before Stanley went for concert practice, he saw his parents waiting near the door. Even though neither of them spoke, their message was clear. Don’t you dare run off again.

  •   On the age of 22, his parents befriended another wealthy family. After some time, they wanted Stanley to marry their daughter. Unfortunately, Stanley's parents were planning the same thing. His parents pressured him into proposing her since the girl was a well-known pianist, and they wanted to continue the family legacy. The girl was, pretty much spoiled, she only cared about herself, is very dishonest, lying to get what she wants and gets mad easily. Despite being rather unhappy, he managed to maintain a happy image, as the girl he liked already married someone else a few months ago. So he forced himself to like her, not complaining about the path his parents had forced him to take.

  •   It was a month before the wedding. Stanley was at home, dreading that so called 'special' day. Pacing around his bedroom wasn't helping at all, so he decided to get some fresh air instead. Walking down the streets, he stared miserably a the pavement. But then he noticed something on the ground at the corner of his eyes. An envelope with a golden seal. He carefully opened it read what was written on it. He skimmed through the words, squinting a little. He was hesistant at first, wondering if he should take a risk and trust the letter. But this was a chance for him to be finally free from everything and start a new. He then hurried home and began to pack what he needed. Luckily his parents went out, so no one questioned the luggage. And when is was time for concert practice, he went for the docks instead. He was going somewhere his parents will never find him: The island of Steam.
