Shoko grew up with her parents happily for a good while. She was loved in her home, and when she was a pre-teen, she started exploring herself, finding her religion, and experimenting with style. This instance is when her mother gifted her her very own pentacle necklace, in which she still wears to this day.
Things changed though, after an incident one day in the woods. Shoko, now a teenager, was out hiking with her parents, and, with her (used to be) adventurous self, she ran off, exploring different parts of the woods. During this moment, she was attacked, and left wounded with a scar on her eye, and a nick on her ear. She laid there for a while, stunned. Until, about an hour later, where she was found by a wife and husband, who took her in and took care of her until adulthood.
During Shoko's mid-thirties, still living with the man and woman who took her in, something changed. In fact, this is where everything changed. The husband had found out that his wife had been being unfaithful to him, and in a fit of rage, he took it out on Shoko. During the dead of night, he grabbed a knife, and proceeded to cut her stomach open, cutting her heart in half.
After her murder, Shoko found herself in the house alone, covered in blood, lights off, in the middle of the night. She was terrified, and she didn't know where to go. After a while of being dead, she discovered other spirits of wolves with similar markings and colors to her, who died in tragic ways as well. She had only started seeing them around about a year after her death.
She gathered all of the other wolves she knew of, and came to the conclusion; That Shoko was the first of their kind, and that she should be there to lead them. This is the moment night wolves were recognized as a species.
After about 500 years of leading the night wolves as their queen, she, and eleven other women, were brought into a meeting with the most powerful being in existence, Father Graviton. He had explained to them how there needed to be balance, and order in the world of Twisted-Earth. As he went on, he explained to them how they were all created by himself, carefully crafted each to be Elemental Goddesses, and sent to Twisted-Earth shortly after the fusion had taken place.
With that, Shoko ditched her title as the Night Wolf Queen, and proceeded to work with the other goddesses as the goddess of the moon.
After breaking it off with Shadie, and coming out as a lesbian during her proposal to Maddie, she is now in a happy polycule relationship involving six women, and living in the Starry Fields with two. (Maddie and Saturn) Though, even with that, she is still fighting for Twisted-Earth in the Twisted-Earth and Heartburn Planet war.
