She's extremely superstitious after she died. She made a mistake, and now follows all the classic rules, EXCEPT for the black cat thing, since she's a lover of animals. Backstory
Windigo was hiking because she loved to be outside. She was possibly foraging for food as well, when she came across something she shouldn't have. She came across an old scroll warning anyone who saw it not to speak the name of an unknown beast that uses it's victems for food. Windigo thought this was silly, and said its name anyway. The beast revealed itself to her, and tried to eat her, even tearing bits of skin from her body. Windigo uses the excuse that she got hit by a car, because she's ashamed of how she died.
