As with all MittKitts, Cyrus:

• Is fully deaf(although has a way to hear)
• Uses magic(Cyrus specifically often uses sense sharing, healing and protection magics as well as the fire shown on the ref sheet.)
• Has his eyes and horns glow when using magic. Often orange for Cyrus although other colors can be chosen, just make sure to match the glow on horns and eyes.

About Cyrus:

Cyrus is a large, intelligent MittKitt with a passion for learning and technology. Generally serious, larger than most, and often seen with a stern expression he can come off as intimidating at first glance but is a big(pardon the pun) softy at heart. He cares deeply about doing what he considers right which includes protecting and taking care of those around him and supporting those in need. Not without his failures, Cyrus can often be quite lazy and have difficulty finding motivation to do things he doesn't want to even if he can acknowledge the benefit of doing those things. Raised with his adopted brother Lucien, the two are rarely seen far from one another.

As family tradition dictated Cyrus learned to harness his magic at a young age with a focus on magic to share another person's senses. This tradition culminates in the summoning of a familiar to constantly share a sense of hearing with to allow easier functioning in day to day life. Whilst Cyrus was arguing with himself over what type of familiar to summon, Lucien volunteered and has been acting as Cyrus's sense of hearing for most of his life since. This unorthodox decision was supported by immediate family although some extended family members still find it strange that Cyrus has no familiar of his own. One family tradition that Cyrus did choose to embrace was that as functioning as something of a species ambassador and diplomat. While mittkitts have lived in the local area for multiple generations now there are still many locals who see them as outsiders and oddities and this has lead to some unfortunate rumors and misconceptions often due to the communication barrier. As such Cyrus's family has long endeavored to work as communication facilitators between mittkitts and other species in an effort to help prevent and dispel any stigma.

While teaching Lyonna spoken language as well as spells to help deal with people uncomfortable with telepathy, the two took an interest in one another which has since developed in to a loving relationship. Due to this it's not at all uncommon for Cyrus or Lucien to be found hanging around Lyonna's shop when not busy with other activities.
