Gumi

Gumi is a laidback, low energy person. He spends almost all of his time at home playing video games or sleeping. He has a very apathetic, carefree nature. For the most part he takes care of himself, however he tends to shirk responsibilities in favor of things that are easier and more interesting. He doesn't like to shower, has terrible sleeping habits, and eats lots of garbage.

Due to his parents' lax parenting style, Gumi tends to be sloppy, rude, and sometimes violent. He hates working, waking up early, going to school, and having to socialize. He tends to be very boring and not very talkative, preferring to zone out and daydream instead.

Despite being highly perceptive to other people's feelings, he typically doesn't do anything about it. He has very strong emotions, which tend to surprise people with their intensity.

He frequents to sarcasm and likes to joke around with his friends. Such friends might describe him as exciteable, something that's incomprehensible to most others, as he has a very mean attitude, and is rarely caught smiling.

Gumi's mother and father prefer to live in the moment and do whatever they want without a care for the consequences. They lived out of a van for all of Gumi's childhood, which in turn resulted in him having basically no friends, and falling behind in his mental development.

However, when he was young, he met Visual while on a trip with his family. They clicked instantly and formed a close bond very quickly. The idea of Visual in Gumi's head turned into a crush that didn't wane despite the distance between them and lack of contact for many years. However, they met again in high school, and resumed their friendship with incredible ease. After Visual got a stable boyfriend, Gumi believed he was able to fully let his crush on him go, and he started dating someone. However, his feelings for Visual never went away, and the relationship ended in failure; she broke up with him, citing that he was clearly disinterested, and wouldn't even sleep with her.
