It is a rare occasion that one turns down the opportunity to join the ranks of the Wayfarers, even more so to take advantage of the selfless organization for one's own ends. But that's exactly what Rei did, after her parents were killed by pirates when she was age 5, the Wayfarers offered to take her in and train her in the proper use of her powerful Life Aether. Upon being told she would have to let go of her desire for revenge however, she internally rejected this gift, taking on more and more training of the martial style as her skills continued to grow out of control. The years of hard living and training paid off and shortly after achieving the prestigious rank of Adjudicator, she forsook her duties and began drifting through the neutral worlds between the three major superpowers, dealing out harsh vengeance upon pirates and organized crime efforts wherever she went, even further honing her seemingly limitless skills. Despite the best efforts of any and all future Adjudicators, she's continued to be far too powerful, able to handily dispatch any and all Wayfarers looking to make her face justice as well as foolhardy Bounty Hunters or Pirates looking for a significant payday. Despite fast approaching a century of life, she still seems to grow stronger by the day, and though she has never had any permanent members join her in her crusade, she has taken on an apprentice at least once, a hybrid named Ven.
