Highlord Vyrm

Typically appearing in the homes and neighborhoods of rich people, the highlord vyrm is a bossy and pompous vyrm species. Strictly solitary, it will perform ritualized aggression against other highlord vyrms, or really, any living thing, be it vyrm, animal or human, that it doesn't like. A highlord vyrm's territorial display involves circling the other creature while puffing out its feathers and inflating its large throat sac to produce a deep, rumbling bellow- somewhat akin to a pigeon's call. It will attack if this warning display is not heeded, wrestling the other creature out of its territory. While these wrestling matches rarely produce injury when they are between two highlord vyrms, a human being wrestled by a considerably larger and heavier vyrm may sustain considerable injury; it's generally advised to stay well away from this territorial species unless one is a tamer.
