About
A former subjugglator, Phaeus abandoned his previous life and turned against the empress when his matesprit was found to be a limeblood, damning him for death. He lived a long while as a space pirate, saving lowbloods and picking up other trolls against the empire, fighting against the Successor's forces when and where they could.
Appearance
Fairly tall and athletically built, he wears white clown facepaint with circles around his eyes that have a point from the top of them, a triangle of grey paint that trails his cheekbones, his nose entirely grey and a grey square that starts from his bottom lip and ends at his chin. He wears a complex pirate outfit with a neck ruffle and purple striped trousers with large boots. His horns are shaped like half a heart with a small point at the apex before the curve, his hair is wavy and generally messy. He has two long fangs and the rest are shorter.

Backstory
Raised by his lusus as a typical purple blood on Alternia, Phaeus showed great promise with his faith in the church and its teachings. He was a readily violent young troll, showing little to no mercy to those who he deemed undeserving of his time.
Once he left Alternia he was set on the path to be a subjugglator but that quickly changed when he met the troll that would be his matesprit. Initially he'd believed the troll was of a medium caste, having been fooled by the clever stories she would spin but an accident revealed to him that his love was in fact a limeblood. - This incident happened right as they were due to petition the subjugglators to officially recognize them as matesprits.
Phaeus was left with a choice - kill the one he loved or turn and run, abandoning the subjugglators and the church he'd devoted himself to...
He chose the latter, barely escaping on a stolen ship and thus their life as pirates began.
Of course the empress could hardly allow that to happen and the two were quickly caught, they'd not had much time to plan afterall and both were set before a court. The limeblood remained stoic but Phaeus could not and though it was a risk to his life, the teal overseeing them knew it was the moment she could finally get some REAL justice.
She freed other prisoners waiting to be tried, causing chaos in the court and allowing many to escape. The teal herself left with the pirates, becoming one of many in their new crew.
For a long while they were a small threat to the empresses control, occasionally causing delays in her expanding empire with their antics but their end came due to their trusting nature.
Allowing absolutely anyone on their crew was a foolish endeavour and the empress took full advantage of that fact, sending a cerulean to keep tabs and coordinate and attack to finally be rid of the pirates.
They died fighting, all doing what they could to protect eachother but there luck could only last so long.
