Coco is a doll. She got possessed by a demon called Nigiti over 150 years ago which brought her to life. Coco used to survive by feeding on happiness. Nowadays, she survives on consuming fear.
Coco likes to lure people to her house and make them fear for their lives. and rightfully so. Coco is not a good doll. She hosts bloodsports for children and has no problem killing to get what she wants

Backstory

• Coco was born Nigiti, a minor demon and slave to a major demon for servitude until death
• She was summoned by a dollmaker who wanted to bring his favorite creation to live. She was bound to a doll body
• Nigiti could not move but could communicate telepathically. She asked the dollmaker to improve her body
• After improving Nigiti's doll body, the dollmaker got attacked and killed because people were afraid of him. They burned his shop down
• Nigiti discovered that her doll body had inherited some demonic traits. One of which was the fact that demons are fireproof
• Nigiti was picked up by a merchant who replaced her burned clothes and sold her to a rich gentleman with a scary dog.
• This gentleman gave Nigiti to her 5 year old daughter, Alice
• Alice named her doll Coco. This was a nickname she used to have for her younger sister, Katherine. But Katherine had recently disappeared
• Alice talked a lot to Coco. She told her about how she was not allowed to leave the house. how bad people were out to get her and how they moved away from the city to be safe
• Alice treated Coco like a little sister. they did everything together. Coco allowed Alice to manipulate her in any way she wanted
• Coco was happy with how things were. She lived with a family with a lot of positive emotions to feed on. And Alice was the sweetest girl and she treated Coco well
• It took a while before Coco revealed herself to Alice. Coco loved her and didn't want to be afraid. Alice told Coco to never reveal that she was alive to anyone else. it was their secret
• Good things never last forever though. it was a slow transition but the happiness was dying
• Coco found herself alone in alice's room quite often. Alice would always come back and tell her about her day, but the amount of times she was part of it diminished. Alice also often returned bruised. Coco also hear things from the other rooms. screaming, yellong, things falling, the dog barking, something was not right
• usually, when Alice did take Coco, everything was fine. But then one time, it was not. Alice's father had come home in a bad mood. After hitting Alice for "speaking out" the dog attacked her. Alice tried to use Coco to shield herself from the dog but with little success. Her father just watched. Several minutes later, Alices mom intervened and stopped the dog.
• Alice was wounded but did still patch up her doll. Cocowas grateful but worried
• Then alice, one day, never returned to her room. She was gone. Coco got picked up by Alice's mom who brought Coco with her to the hospital. once there, Alice's mom drifted into a catatonic state.
• Coco left the hospital to find Alice. She never found her, but did manage to find the house.
• After managing to scare of anyone who still lived in the house, Coco claimed it and rebuild it just like she remembered hoping that one day, Alice would return and they could live together again. She never returned
• the fact that alice was gone dawned on Coco and she looked for alternative solutions. One of which was making a new Alice. But for that, she needed humans
• Coco hosted a bloodsport in her house. The first of many. She kidnapped children that unknowingly walked in and had them fight each other. Coco would then use the bodies of the victims to build herself a new Alice

Abilities

• Immunity to pain: Coco is a doll without bonestructure as well as very light. this makes her immune to pain and injuries from falling
• Demonic heritage: Coco is a demon and has inherited demonic traits. Her body is heat and fireproof and also very durable
• "Natural" weapons: Coco implanted fangs and claws into her own body
• Telepathy: Coco has learned to speak normally. But it is much easier for her to speak telepathically
• Puppet Master: Coco has a unique link to the body she build. She can control it mentally like a puppet
• Gifted: Coco is quite skilled and has little trouble learning new things

Notes

• Cocos mangled mouth is the result of herself trying to implant fangs. it never fully healed (and yes, Coco body actually heals naturally)
• The puppet looking like Coco is not a coincidence. Alice looked like Coco and dressed her Coco up like her. Alice's father bought Coco because the doll looked like his daughter
• Coco is about 51 cm tall making her tall for a doll, but still pretty small. Because she is mostly plush, she is very lightweight
• The puppet master ability is loosely based on Theseus' Paradox. Whatever Coco adds to her body becomes part of her. subsequently, if a new body is build around a part of her that was cut off, it still works as part of her as long as the body stays within a certain distance of her. If this connection is ever fully severed by being too far away, this is lost permanently. This means that Coco could, in theory, create copies of herself. But she doesn't like to think of these copies as part of her even though she senses what they do and she can move them like they're limbs. Lastly controlling these puppets costs energy. Human puppets have the advantage that they have metabolism and can power their own body. Because of that it's a lot easier for Coco to have human puppets than other dolls as puppets.
• Coco could swap to a new body if she wanted too by slowly upgrading parts of her current body by replacing. She build a porcelain body for herself at some point with that in mind. She ultimately decided not to do it because porcelain was too brittle. And also because she was afraid it would go wrong and she would get stuck being some kind of porcelain-cloth hybrid doll monstrosity
