Idris

Idris is a minor deity in a large pantheon, though he is among the better-known of his minor brethren. He lives up to his calling as the god of mischief and patron of cats: he can't help himself getting up in shit he shouldn't be in, playing tricks, teasingly flirting with everyone. It's all good-natured, of course, but sometimes his curiosity gets the better of him.

A persistent darkness creeps across the land and while the major gods willfully ignore it, many of the minor gods - Idris' crush, Luka, included - see it as a looming threat and desperately lobby the pantheon to pay attention. Idris isn't sure what to think and stays neutrally quiet, but his overwhelming curiosity about the whole mess brings him close to the edge of the smog more times than maybe he should have let it. When gods suddenly start disappearing, Idris has an aching feeling in his gut that Luka and the others were right - and then he's gone too.

While they don't have any duties in common, Idris spends a lot of time around Luka if he can help it. He thinks he's made it pretty clear that he's legitimately flirting with Luka, and not jokingly, but he's respectfully kept some distance since Luka doesn't reciprocate.

Idris is a troublemaker and a huge gossip. He loves antagonizing people and is the absolute worst choice of person to tell secrets to, especially if they involve someone else. He's so used to people expecting this behaviour of him that he doesn't quite grasp that it isn't appropriate or particularly nice to do to your friends.
