Story
dderpaw was born on any other spring day. She was a single kitten litter and her parent's second litter.
Adderkit spent most of her kithood with her father BranchPelt as her mother SaltStar was always busy. Adder never had as much interest in playing with the other kits as they did with her.
She became an apprentice for 6 moons, her mentor is CopperPurr. It wasn't long after her apprentice ceremony that Adder started to have her dreams visited by a Darkforest cat named FreckleFeather. Adder didn't take very well to either of her mentors proving to be a quite stubborn cat to teach.
It was during her first gathering that she met Foxpaw and was immediately smitten. The two of them sneaked away to spend the whole night getting to know one another instead of attending the gathering (which they later got in trouble for).

Adderpaw continues to sneak out to meet Foxpaw whenever she can. Meeting Nightpaw one day while crossing the RoseClan border towards Thicketclan. Enjoying his company enough to let them stick around sometimes.
Her home life back at her clan isn't the best, with her seeming to constantly butt heads with any cat that comes her way. Especially with her mother who constantly sends warriors to watch Adder to make sure she doesn't sneak out of camp again (she somehow manages anyway).

Relationships
There is no cat Adder loves more. She wants to spend the rest of her life with Fox. It’s a crime to her that they already can’t spend every second of the day together. It’s every other cat's fault that they cant be together already not hers...at least that’s what FreckleFeather says.

A cat she fears as much as she dislikes. FreckleFeather is not only a rough mentor but a cruel one as well. Adder wishes that there was a way she could never fall asleep if it meant she’d never wake up in that dark place again. But at the same time, she fears that without Freckle she will never achieve what she so wishes.

If Adder were to say the way SaltStar treats her was because she cared it would be a lie. All her life Adder has struggled to have any sort of relationship with her mother past the leader to her clanmate-type bond, and now has only built up resentment because of it.

Since kithood Cherry has always been an annoying itch in Adder’s fur. Only it got worse as the two aged. Adder doesn’t know why she feels like she needs to one-up Cherry in everything the two do but isn’t stopping anytime soon.
