Suex

Suex is very high spirited and rowdy. He's got an optimistic nature and can be very affectionate to others. He tries to stay optimistic, but he is awfully lonely. Most of his counterparts are much more reserved living in secluded areas and without much interaction even with so-called friends. Despite this, he has a tendency to be a social butterfly and knows most of all the dragons in his area, even does postal work in order to meet with everyone. 

BEFORE BIRTH 

Before the current day dragons had been different. All living together under the same mantle and striving together as kin. However, as time progressed it gave birth to a divide between the creatures. The chasm of their differences grew and they all detested one another. Blood was shed, lines were drawn and no longer were dragons together as one, they were separate as many and few. 

2 years before Suex's birth, his parents came together after encountering each other while fishing in some coral pools. Gem dragons being the type to live alone, the two were a bit of an oddity being together as friends before even coupling. They lived happily together without worry and wanted to start a family that would change the way that their species lived. 

CHILDHOOD 

His upbringing wasn't quite as sweet as a story however. Though Suex's parents loved him very much, Gem dragons have always been hunted for their bones, teeth and horns and his parents were no exception. During a fishing trip, having left the young dragonet home alone, the two were captured and culled the only thing left behind were tufts of fur and blood. Young Suex searched for them desperately but came up short, never finding his parents again. Alone, afraid and young the dragon nearly starved until his grandmother who had come by regularly to visit her daughter's family found him. She raised him up from there nurturing his kind spirit. His family's dream still alive in his heart, though unknowingly so. He tried to make friends with the other Gem dragons around. Though they did little but ignore him at first, they grew to tolerate and even humor his ideas earning the dragon a job delivering messages betwixt them. The once isolated population was becoming open to each other through pen paling of all things! 

CURRENT

Suex continued his work as the resident postal dragon happily. Enjoying gossiping between dragonesses or sending pointed threats from dragon to dragon. The joy of communication and being able to travel between territories was a joy to him. Though most Gem dragons were anti-social they at least bid him a hello if anything.

Upon returning to his home one day Suex encountered Galah. Now he'd never met another dragon before and despite his late grandmother's warnings Suex was elated to find someone new. He was surprised the Galah was so open and to meeting and conversation with him. Suex was enamored with Galah and his talk of adventure to several other settlements and collections of dragons he'd met even more so by his detailed drawings and notes about them. Suex told him everything that he knew as well and the two forged a friendship. Every day after delivering all his mail he would come home and talk with Galah. It proceeded like this for months until while returning home from his daily trip he was kidnapped by poachers. Suex distraught and fearing for his life desperately fought to no avail and thought he feared this would be the end of him. Resigning to his fate he'd given in but his hope was restored when Galah rescued him.  Galah had refused to leave his side, even proposing he just stay here with Suex and not move on. Guilt filled Suex as he desperately didn’t want Galah to give up his dream.  Rather Suex requested that once it was time to move on Galah take him with him. The two of them stayed together since and thusly leading to current times.

• Suex is an only Child and an Orphan
• While Suex may be quite social, he's always under the impression others won't like him.
• Suex is located in something of the dragon equivalent in Thailand. His full name means 'Crying Tiger'

Best Friend

Galah is a traveler form a distant homestead of sky dragons. Him and Suex came into contact while he was researching the Gem dragons. He was pleasantly surprised to acquire a new companion, and has even started having feelings for him. yet neither of them have confessed anything yet.
