Forte's parents were childhood sweethearts, making it official during their middle school years, and were married soon after graduating high school. They had decided to wait a few years before starting their family, the two struggling to make ends meet for a few years, before finally settling down into their small town. Starting a family was difficult for the two; several doctor's visits and fertility trials left them crestfallen at the possibility of never having the life they had dreamed of. Years of attempting to find an answer or a feasible method had become so mentally taxing, that Forte's mother had fallen ill, the stress from the fertility trials and her diminishing self-confidence rendering her unable to leave the house. Doctor's visits became bedside as they battled to keep her in high spirits, at least until they could find an answer. After multiple tests and a last resort decision to go through one more round of IVF, the young couple finally obtained thre answers they had been waiting for, along with the joyous news that they would be adding a little one into their fold.

From the moment she was born, Forte was a force to be reckoned with. Her arrival into the world was met with much fervor, her family and those from their village showering her in material posessions and pure adoration. She grew up buckwild, attached to her father's hip and learning the ins and outs of guarding the town. From the very beginning, Forte had found an innate love for swords and medieval relics, wanting to one day follow in her father;s footsteps to become a guardswoman. From sun up to sundown, Forte was always at her father's side, practising her sword swings and getting the hang of the complex footwork included. She was never one for housework, unlike her beloved brother, who had been born just a year after her fifth birthday. Her brother, much more of a "momma's boy" stuck to doing the cooking and housechores, reading with his mother in his spare time. Even after their mother became ill once more, the young boy did everything he could to keep her happy and well, Forte doing everything she could to help provide for the family during this tumultuous time. Forte had ultimately dropped out of school to help her father make ends meet and support her little brother, even years after their mother's unfortunate passing.

The loss of their mother took a massive toll on the two siblings, especially on the youngest, the poor boy closing himself off from the world, and leaving Forte to pick him back up and dust him off. The two became very close during the grieving period, nearly inseparable- Forte now had someone to protect above all else. Years after their mother passed, their father followed after, leaving the two to begin their lives elsewhere, moving deeper into Ferncombe and staking claim to a nice countryside home along the edge of the town. There, Forte and her brother struggled to make a name for themselves, the young woman easily aquiring a job as a guardswoman. Having to raise a young kid was a challenge for Forte- domesticity was never her strong suit, so it took a lot of learning from her brother how to wash the clothes, and even cook- though after many trials and errors, decided that she would never touch a stove again. Ever since, the two have done their best to excel in areas the other does not, the two becoming a fearless tag team. When Forte's brother becomes distant, Forte is there to guide him, and he is always there to help bring Forte back down to earth and remind her that she doesn't have to protect him all of the time.
