Simon is an advanced form of an astral projection (which is essentially a person’s(in this case, Keiko’s) consciousness temporarily leaving their body, except I made it even cooler, he gets his own separate body and assumes his own appearance, more on that later). His role is to look after the ghosts and angels that reside in the manor as well as the manor itself. And he’s also just a really fun guy.

DESIGN
- Outfits change often, most follow a similar color palette, masks are usually a variation of the one above
- Mask conforms to facial expressions, eyes are a solid black, I usually fill the mouth with a solid red
- Hair can also change a lot(style, length, etc, color is usually the same)
- His ears were super pointy n long in older designs but rn I just draw them as regular ears with a lil point at the end

What is Simon up to???
Unbeknownst to the residents of Cadenza Manor, the establishment acts as a temporary "living" space for angels, ghosts, and other wandering phantasms to reside in while waiting to pass on. Simon's job is to oversee these spirits and help them leave the spirit plane. He is basically a ghost therapist.
But what about Urik?
That's where things get a bit complicated. Urik is a poltergeist(which in this case means a ghost that is still bound to the material plane and is able to interact with it as a result of grudges, trauma, etc.) as opposed to a wandering spirit(which is a ghost that exists solely in the spirit plane and often fade away over time, sometimes fairly quickly). Part of helping Urik pass on(or "find peace") is figuring out why he is unable to in the first place, which ends up being incredibly difficult for Simon since neither Urik nor Carmen will tell him anything about it.
