HALO: Clouds and Moonlight

Reverie is the mayor of Stardenn, a tiny town in the middle of the woods plagued by monsters, and he uses the power gifted to him from his angel patron to keep his citizens safe. He sort of became mayor by accident. Stardenn was supposed to be a pit stop in his travels, not a final destination. But when disaster struck the town, and Reverie made a bargain with an angel to give him the power to save everyone, he just ended up stuck there. He’d never admit it, but he’s ever so slightly resentful over that. He believes himself to be the worst person for the job. On the other hand, he also believes that he's the only person that could handle it. 

He’s quick on his feet, a master multitasker, and way younger than his demeanor would lead you to believe. He talks and carries himself like an old man, despite being barely old enough to be considered an adult. He tries too hard to solve everyone's problems, and has a hard time taking time to himself. He tries not to hold grudges, but fails at this. Desperate for company that doesn't need something from him. Reverie is generally wary of outsiders in his town. Considering that some horrors have human faces, and they’ve had trouble with that in the past, this makes sense. He does his best with the hand he’s been dealt. He is terrified of the idea that he might, in some way, be viewed as a religious figure. This is mostly an irrational fear. Mostly.
