He is a sea cat...without a fish tail! 

Omyte might not be a mercat but he just as happily walks along the bottom. He thinks he is handsome and everyone else should too.   Omyte is quite vain and stuck up, he is Queen Salome's grandson and no one really puts him in his place. He's always just appeased.. its making him a jerk.  Only his sister can call him out on his behavior by calling him 'Omelet' no one is sure why she calls him this but its a nasty nickname he's had for as long as anyone can remember, he hates it.
