Fen is the master of deadpan humor. Actually, deadpan everything. He communicates entirely through short, curt sentences, with very little care for how rude they may sound. He tends to ignore his academics to pursue more athletics, and has a habit of putting too much on his plate. He doesn't put work into his relationships, thinking he has his twin and that's all he needs.

Feneko’s father, Mark Cooper, is a marine biologist. He took a business trip to Japan and met meterologist Kisumi on the subway, as she was being harassed by another person. Being the loud American he is, Mark called attention to the problem and scared the harasser away. Kisumi appreciated Mark’s actions and they were both pleased to find that they would be working together.
First meeting leads to dates which leads to marriage which leads to having babies. Mark took his wife’s surname in attempt to have his children fit in, despite the fact that he literally named his second child Fennec. Americans, amirite?
Feneko and Kosuke grew up as normally as you could in a purely scientific household. Mark would constantly bring in bugs and animals that he found and show them to the kids, so they’re rather comfortable with creepy-crawlies.
Feneko started on sports when he was young, taking one of those child ballet and gymnastic classes. He loved it so much he branched out into anything he could get his hands on, and has excelled in most sports. His favourites are volleyball, tennis, ballet, and gymnastics.
