Vitality is a 18 year old (Human Years) RainWing that works as a tavern keeper and general member of the Scorpion Den. She is beautiful, and often flaunts about it casually. She doesn’t think she’s better than other dragons, and holds morals at a high regard; life or death, morals per say. As someone who lives in the Scorpion Den, stealing and scuffling is part of life, and she doesn’t mind participating in skirmishes herself. She only longs for a fair fight. Vitality would kill someone if she had to.
As mean as she sounds, vitality is very sweet. Vitality is sort of a secondary WoF sona for me since people recognize her for me, but she isn't supposed to BE me, that's Pleco's job!
Lore
Vitality fled the Rain kingdom at age 6 after almost being stolen by NightWings. She escaped, but unintentionally got lost and separated from the Rainforest. She had thought about searching, but had an awakening, realizing that no one would care if she was gone; so she set out for dragons who would care, she would make them care.
The earring she wears in her left frill is from the dragon Magnesium. Magnesium and Vitality happened to be in the arena one day, Vitality being young and looking to steal; she was visiting the Sky Kingdom still looking for a home before she found the Scorpion Den. She spied big huge tall Magnesium and YANKED her earring right out of her ear. To this day, Vitality still wears the ring, and Magnesium doesn’t have a clue. Someday they will meet.
Vitality resides in the Scorpion Den, living in an Adobe Hut, studded with various plants she took from the Rainforest when she left. Vitality often entertains and amuses the younger SandWing Dragonets that run around the Scorpion Den. She’s often treated more like a pretty object by some, but simply baring her fangs to remind her imposer of what happened with Queen Glory and Scarlet. Vitality lives with her partner Cassowary, who strides by her side everyday. She also has a siamese cat named Juice.
Vitality’s forms of entertainment for the SandWings consist of turning colors and imitating other tribes or dragons, organizing games of ball, and sometimes bringing out her Siamese cat to let them see. Vitality is very kind to the dragonets but isn’t afraid to scare the ones that get into trouble. Vitality often uses the dragonets to spy on the other adult dragons around the Scorpion Den. She asks them questions that reveal things about their home life. Vitality doesn’t usually use this information for anything in particular, but is willing to trade gold and jewels for the things she knows.
When Vitality isn’t acting as entertainment for dragonets, she works as a tavern keeper. Vitality could be killed easily, but many who know her stray away from her because of her venom. Many SandWings often flirt with Vitality. A lot of the generally boring looking and sandy colored dragons admire her scales, wistfully starring from a distance.
Relationships
Cassowary
Cassowary met his partner Vitality one day when he still lived in Possibility. She arrived in the market one day, and he couldn't' keep his eyes off of her. She was the prettiest dragon he'd ever seen, and he had to at least try to get her. So he started speaking to her, finding out her personality, and getting into a sappy love-at-first-sight situation. She called him names, teasing him all day while he followed her gently, until she was about to leave. She asked him if he'd like to return to her home in the Scorpion Den, and he instantly agreed, uprooting his life in belief of a new adventure.
They now love each other very much and exist in a himbo x spunky lady relationship happiliy in the Scorpion Den. They constantly get things for each other. Cassowary can, of course, knit, and among creating all of many scarfs for people around the scorpion den, likes to make things for Vitality and their cat. The cat wears a red sweater that Cas knit, and Vitality's favorite gift is a pale yellow scarf.
When Vitality isn't working, he gives her lessons on how to create a scarf like his, or help her keep the many orphaned dragonets that skitter around the Den under control. They like to entertain people in the street with their bright and beautiful colors (Vitality taught Cas this hobby of hers). While Cas can't change his colors, the two of them are regarded as the prettiest dragons in the Scorpion Den.
Juice
Vitality and Cas own a street cat named Juice that she found in the Scorpion Den way before she met Cassowary. The cat is male and wears a small red sweater that Cassowary knitted for it after they met.
Hornbill
This character takes place when Vitality is older. (She'd be about 27 in human years.) Hornbill (Owned by Meowza) is one of the best things in Vitalitys life. She protects her fervently and teaches her daily the best skills for self defense as the Scorpion Den is dangerous.
Design
Vitality’s default colors are a vibrant deep to pale teal, that fades into orange and white stripes going down her tail. Vitality's underbelly is a teal color that marks from her jaw all the way down until her tail, which turns to orange and white stripes again.
Vitality has redish brown talons, horns, and spikes. She has two horns with an elbow bend, a spike on each jaw bone corner, and a spike on her nose.
Vitality's eyes are orange, but can be drawn as white/none. She has white eyemasks surrounding them, and orange frills framing her face.
The underside of Vitality's wings are the same orange as the top of her head, tail stripes, and frills, while the topside of Vitality's wings are a dark teal that covers her back.
Vitality is slightly below average size, but not by a lot. She is thin, and her wings are a normal siz. She has a very articulate tail.
In terms of clothing, Vitality can wear any nice kinds of veils or jewles she pick pockets in the Scorpion Den, but always wears two smooth, white, wooden horn rings. She also always wears a small, black, metal frill ring piercing. Sometimes Vitality wears a pale yellow scarf that Cassowary knitted for her.
Design Notes
- Vitality's frill ring is on HER left frill.
- Vitality's darkish teal color fades to almost white to coincide with the white stripes of her tail
- Stripes don't ever have to be exact, I never am
- Vitality's horn rings have been both white and black before, but are indeed simply white and don't ever come off.
