Cassowary or Cas is gentle natured and mellow, but very alert. He enjoys talking to other dragons, and has no issue striking up conversation with someone he's never met before. He's a very smooth talker, and uses that to his advantage to sway people into being his friend. He has the capability to be extremely manipulative, but chooses not to be. He loves flying more than he should and often takes days out by himself just to wander around. He is extremely passionate about creating things like art but more specifically, likes to knit and weave in his free time.
He is a himbo. Cassowary comes from a linage of hybrids, with both his parents being hybrids. He was very loved and very free to do what he wanted, and left because he wanted to explore the world.
Lore
Cas lives in the Scorpion Den with Vitality, helping her at her bar and pursuing his personal passion of knitting and weaving. When Vitality isn't working, he gives her lessons on how to create a scarf like his, or help her keep the many orphaned dragonets that skitter around the Den under control. They like to entertain people in the street with their bright and beautiful colors (Vitality taught Cas this hobby of hers). While Cas can't change his colors, the two of them are regarded as the prettiest dragons in the Scorpion Den. Among creating all of many scarfs for people around the scorpion den, likes to make things for Vitality and their cat. The cat wears a red sweater that Cas knit, and Vitality's favorite gift is a pale yellow scarf.
He and Vitality own a street cat named Juice that she found in the Scorpion Den way before she met Cassowary. The cat is male and wears a small red sweater that Cassowary knitted for it after they met.

Vitality
Cassowary met his partner Vitality one day when he still lived in Possibility. She arrived in the market one day, and he couldn't' keep his eyes off of her. She was the prettiest dragon he'd ever seen, and he had to at least try to get her. So he started speaking to her, finding out her personality, and getting into a sappy love-at-first-sight situation. She called him names, teasing him all day while he followed her gently, until she was about to leave. She asked him if he'd like to return to her home in the Scorpion Den, and he instantly agreed, uprooting his life in belief of a new adventure.
They now love each other very much and exist in a himbo x spunky lady relationship happiliy in the Scorpion Den. They constantly get things for each other.
Juice
Cas and Vitality own a street cat named Juice that Vitality found in the Scorpion Den way before she met Cassowary. The cat is male and wears a small red sweater that Cassowary knitted for it after they met.
Hornbill
This character takes place when Cassowary is older. (He'd be about 28 in human years.) Hornbill (Owned by Meowza) is one of the best things in Cassowary and Vitalitiy's life. He loves to teach her how to take care of herself; showing her things in nature, how to hunt, and how to be safe.
Design
Cassowary is a lanky and long limbed SandWing-RainWing hybrid. His scales cannot change color, but rather adapted to the color of a Cassowary. His body type is more SandWing, but his colors are RainWing.
Cassowary has a large pale tan sail that fades down the neck into black neck spikes. Those back spikes go down the body until they fade into yet another sail that extends part of the length of his long blue tail, which has a curved and sharp barb.
Cassowary's neck and head are shades of blue, with the upper part being a lighter blue. The front of his face and beak are the same black that the rest of his body is. The majority of his body is black. He has black and pale gray-ish blue wings. He has leg stockings that are the same tan-brown that his sail is.
Cassowary has pointy face horns. His eyes are a dark amber orange.
Cassowary wears a small red silk scarf around his neck for kicks because he thinks it makes him look cool. Cassowary still has the potent venom that SandWings have in his tail barb, but no RainWing venom or any other RainWing powers. He cannot breath fire.
Design Notes
- He almost never takes his scarf off.
- The parts of his body that do not have sails have spikes.
- His scales do not change colors.
