Perdita is a sullen Octoweapon caretaker loyal to the Octarian throne. She is a veteran mechanic operating out of Octo Valley, having once been top of her division as an Octoweapon technician and designer; she was demoted after failing to stop Agent 3.
Despite her occupation, she is a pacifist: an optimistic nihilist who wants nothing more than the Inklings to leave well enough alone.

Her tentacles are flecked with "iridescent white spots" due to her species, Macroctopus maorum.
Her face is very similar to Tig Notaro's in shape and features: harshly-lined, thin lips, sharp eyes, a tall jaw, and a blunted chin.
