Current ver (vampire/actor):
Born from a lineage of Hunters. It was when they had taken Haruki out on his first hunt for a safe demonstrative show when everything went awry. Horrible crushing of bone, fire and gunshots astray. He had no idea what was happening. Vampires were supposed to be extinct, or so they thought. His entire team was murdered in a blink of an eye, and he found his fate in his turning of blood. After that, it was all revenge. He was totally going to kill that vampire. Totally.

晴 (haru) "to clear up, clear weather"
輝 (ki) "glitter, bright, to shine"
There's nothing particularly special about him. Simple-minded, cinnamon roll; prone to assuming the best out of people — even when it's clear to everyone else that something is definitely wrong. His naivete is cause for some sketchy situations, but he lives through them all fairly unscathed due to the protection of his family members. Every single one of them are extremely badass AND quite flashy, so Haruki often struggles with the desire to also be useful (especially because his abilities are far more defensive than the others). Due to this, he will often assume a supportive role rather than the primary role — in the end, his personality is a tender one, so he minds little that the others get the spotlight. He just wants to help.
Has a pet cat. Her name is Drumstick.

DOWN/FEATHER FORTRESS
The ability to manipulate his feathers — they harden/soften and puff up. Useful for protection. The stripes of color in his wings change depending on the temperature he emanates from his wings. The temperature change he can control is slight, it's not enough to burn or turn into ice. Rather, he's more akin to a soothing air conditioner/heat blanket. It's mostly soothing. Although at times, it does help nullify attacks that try and penetrate his feather fortress.

He’s still stuck in his thoughts while they’re walking towards the arena so he jumps a little when he hears Hato speak.
“You ready to go, lil bro?” Hato isn’t looking at him, eyeing their opponents instead. His sharp eyes are slipping from relaxed to predatory, but the calmness in his voice loosens Haruki up just a little bit.
