About
Lloyd is a scientist specializing in the areas of death and parapsychology. Lloyd is currently a researcher in this field. His research (while he writes formal papers) is presented in a friendly format for general audiences to understand, almost like a journal or story. His journeys and research often take him to individuals who can "Talk With Death". It's common to debunk these individuals or suggest there might be a chance. Readers eat this all up.
Some scientists don't view his area of research or how he presents it favorably. Lloyd finds this gatekeeping nature in the science community a hindrance to both education for the general public and working with each other. Lloyd also looks into alternative methods of possibly communicating with the dead, signs of the dead, or a way to cross. The possibility of becoming immortal may exist if he is able to understand what death is. He also dabbles into looking into other supernatrual occurrences or entities.Lloyd has other friends around him as co-workers who help each other in the field. The community is quite strong and a lot of them do follow in Lloyd's footsteps into releasing stuff for the public which can easily be readable - or talks that are quite easy to understand. Larkin, however, is a friend that isn't in this specific field but has a real curiosity about it. Lloyd has actively been trying to get Larkin to work under him to get out of Sir. Attaly's grasp. He sees Larkin as an ideal co-partner to help him out on his investigations after knowing him for a couple of years now. Lloyd would say he's closer to Larkin than anyone who he works with in his field.

Personality
Lloyd thinks fairly highly of himself. Larkin is often the one who reels him in since Lloyd can seem pretty hyprocritical at times and may not realize it. He can be a bit stubborn too when it comes to certain things. Lloyd is a natrual curious guy who if he finds something out of place - he will always look into it. This might make him step on people's toes fairly often. He's quite brash and loud when it comes to him doing the "right thing" and often not taking other opinons into consideration unless they're a close friend or trustful.

- When we are first introduced to Lloyd - Lloyd is already popular and well known. He's written several books (10+) on his various adventures over his life.
- Lloyd's work is sponsored by private individuals and gets paid by his sponsors who want him to succeed.
- He really wants to find a girlfriend to settle down with but he finds himself too much of a workerholic to find someone. He's a romantic.
