Section 1 - Inspiration

  1. Do not take heavy inspiration off of my characters. That includes very defining features, exact, eyedropped color schemes, or any other unique features of my characters.
  2. You are of course allowed to take inspiration from my characters. If you like a certain feature about a character that you would like to apply to your own character, feel free to use the feature for your own. Obviously, do not feel the need to credit me.
  3. Making a character based off a species I have created is always allowed.
  4. If you would like to borrow defining character traits or designs, please ask me first. If you believe something may be heavy inspiration from me, make sure to ask if it is okay to use. In most cases, this would be making your own species inspired by my species'. Otherwise, you obviously don't have to ask me.
  5. It should be obvious, but do not completely copy a design I've made. Designs I have purchased or gotton for a custom are included, though it may work differently for the designer's TOS. Accidents are completely understandable, and I will not ask for the character to be changed for my liking. Your character is your character. Just do not purposely copy my designs.

Section 2 - Permissions

  1. If you want to draw my character, that is perfectly fine. You do not have to ask my permission beforehand. You may ask me for a reference of a character if you need one.
  2. Do not draw my character in any of the following situations:
    1. NSFW, suggestive, or otherwise sexual situations. This can be different if the character canonically deals with sexual situations. Do not EVER draw my minor characters in these situations- especially my sonas.
    2. Extremely violent or gruesome situations, unless it is canon to the characer's story or fate. If a character's design includes gore one way or another, then that's an obvious exception.
    3. With the intention of selling to others or claiming the character as your own, or otherwise claiming ownership to others or yourself. Do not sell art containing my characters, even if the artwork itself is 100% made by you.
    4. With the intention of harassing or making fun of the designer of the character. Do not draw my characters in offensive situations, or promoting offensive subjects. If the character canonically supports any crime, then this is an exception. Do not promote any messages you may think I disagree with, or that others will disagree with.
  3. You can take inspiration from character traits or designs, just make sure to credit me in some form (refer to Section 1).

Section 3 - General

  1. Most designs are 100% original by me. Some may be adopts or trades from others. Some designs may be inspired by other's designs for characters as well.
  2. Characters set in a universe usually go by a certain lore. Characters that are put in non-canon situations are most likely unrelated to the story, take place in an AU, or do not happen at all. If something that is drawn is non-canon (as stated by the artist) then make sure not to draw the character in a similar situation, as it may confuse the lore.
    1. Characters that are drawn in situations as stated in Section 2 will also be non-canon as well, and are only permitted by the original designer or owner to make. Otherwise, it will be considered invalid and will be asked to be taken down.
    2. Characters in crossovers with other characters, whether in a more popularized universe (FNAF, etc) or another owner's universe will also be non-canon. Interactions with outside characters from the lore are not to be considered part of the story, unless otherwise said to be part of the character's lore. (Refer to The Multiverse for a deeper explination) . Don't blatantly compare my characters to other's.

Section 4 - Adopts

  1. Characters that are bought as adopts will usually vary in permissions
    1. Characters that are left unlisted, the ownership will be fully moved to the new owner of the character. This includes what they choose to do with the character, how they choose the character to look, their story, etc
    2. You are not required to credit the original owner of the character, thought it is reccomended to credit the designer of the character (whoever is listed as designer on the character's profile)
  2. Characters that are noted to not give full permissions away will usually describe what features must remain, and is not very common when selling the character designs. It is more likely to require credit of the designer and perhaps the original owner.
  3. Please do not unlist characters that I have sold you. You may make them logged in-only, but do not make them autorized-only, unless I am authorized. If you plan to delete a character, please try to notify me first. I would like to know who my designs are going to. Do not disable their favorites, as this is the easiest way for me to track them. You can after I have favorited them (if I do).
  4. Do not sell a character for more than you bought them for (freebies, especially, should not be traded or sold unless the character being obtained is also a freebie). Do not sell them right after you've gotten them. Draw or obtain at least one piece of art for the character before selling them. You may add on to the worth of a character as they obtain commissions or YCHes.
If you purchase or otherwise obtain an adopt from me, they can be used for monetary value ONLY IF the artwork that is being used for gain is your artwork or otherwise a piece that was given permission to be used for monetary gain. Do not use my artwork to gain money.

Section 5 - Trades

  1. Trades of characters will likely be an exchange between designs. Otherwise may be an exchange of currency or artwork for a character.
    1. Exchange of characters via design/design will vary based on the permissions set when trading (refer to Section 4)
    2. Exchange of characters via artwork or currency/design will, again, vary on permissions. If the character has (added) worth to them, they can be sold. If not, I would prefer if they were traded for art or another character.
  2. You may change the character's design moderately if you are not completely satisfied with them. Don't completely change everything about the character. At that point, you might as well just make a new character.
