Hades is an independent and sarcastic being, two very out of the ordinary traits for a cymerian. She isn't opposed to getting into a bit of mischief.
She's clever, although not too clever. Not easily startled or scared, but has a bad habit of running away from their problems... like, all of them.
She comes across as cool, but honestly, also kind of a jerk. Often makes quips or cynical remarks. Confident and smug, maybe overly so. Despite all this... they're very caring towards others and their situations, at least if informed. They just like to keep the mood light with their dark humor! It's what they've always done. It's helped them through a lot of things, but they've barely taken notice that it doesn't help everyone else. Mostly because they've been on their own, for the most part...

Hades had recently joined a military brigade, being recruited to another planet entirely, known as Pulturnoc.
♦ Spicy
Before landing on Pulturnoc, Hades was immediately set up with proper training, and had three microchips sealed into the back of her neck to let her breathe in the atmosphere and regulate her temperature. Once landed, she understood why. The cymerians were assaulted with just how hot and humid the planet was. It was going to be a rough adjustment from their naturally cool home planet, Aucelemarinus.
♦ Subheader
Told to be aware at all times, and to leave the base as little as possible, many of the cymerians were on high alert. Hades understood, but she was a lot more relaxed than the rest of her squad. After several months of preparations, they were assigned their first actual combat mission. This did not go particularly well. Hades was paired up with another cymerian, Tempest, and while the two were bickering- they were ambushed. Hades was dragged away and Tempest followed them as fast as they could. Thankfully, they did save Hades, but in the mess they were chased even farther away, and were seperated from their crew...
Now Tempest and Hades have to find their way back to the base. They gotta WORK TOGETHER! GOOD LUCK YOU TWO!!
Hades was raised by a single parent, Jun. She never knew her other parent or whatever happened to them, and she never cared enough to ask. Aside from that, they had a relatively normal upbringing... until they were twelve, when the Essepherus Pandemic hit their home planet, Aucelemarinus.
♦ Run
Jun was infected badly compared to most- in fact, most of the cymerians in their area, save for Hades themself, were infected so intensely they might as well have had rabies. They went after Hades in a blind rage, the Essepherus trying to take her down with them. So Hades ran.
Hades has been running from that event for most of her life, until it just became her life: Running away. She rarely ever stayed in one place for long, always on the move, whether subconsciously still avoiding her home or for another reason entirely. Sometimes she wouldn't even stay in an area for longer than a day. Over time she's convinced herself it's simply because she's adventurous... Which, admittedly, she is.
♦ Pulturnoc wants YOU
One day, Hades discovered that there were aliens from another planet on their homeworld, known as azura. These azura were recruiting cymerians to come to their home planet, Pulturnoc, to help fight against a neighboring species that was slowly- but surely, killing them all. Hades saw this as the ultimate oppurtunity to move along, and jumped at the chance of joining the military crew.
Open extra box. My thought was to use to describe where they live - both the location & their actual home (a house, an apartment, out in the wildnerness). Or like... use for something else if you want.

Tempest ♦ Begrudging Friends
Hades thinks Tem is way too tightly wound up, and could use a vacation day. Sadly they won't be getting that very soon. However, as the adventure goes on, the two learn more about one another... and start to enjoy the other's company.
Mel ♦ Friend
Hades thinks Mel is pretty darn cool, especially considering all she's heard about their species being deadly and vicious and whatnot. Still, their size is a little on the intimidating side, especially when Mel insists on roughhousing...
Kona ♦ Friend
To Hades, Kona seems similar to Tempest... but like. Less of a stick in the mud. She likes her, even if her science jargin confuses Hades so, so much.
