Marco

Marco was born from a piece of black shale existing deep within the ground in the North Dakota Bakken Formation. An oil pumpjack caused Marco to awaken from the shale in 2008 when they materialized in the pump and made their way to the surface. Marco then followed a gut feeling towards Minnesota where they eventually found a shed containing others like them.

Marco absorbs food through their neck. Their head, neck, and paw pad colour changes to reflect mood- though the colours are limited to red, black, green, and yellow. It's unknown whether these are the only colours Marco is able to produce, or if they just haven't learned to make others. Marco is incapable of speech.

They HATE water but is also not a fan of heat. They get overly excited over little things and will sometimes excite themself to the point where they will overheat and pass out. Marco loves interaction and will try to befriend anyone and anything.

Marco has a strong attachment to Plate, who they think is their mother. They are afraid of barKING.
