Experiment 72 was created at a Cryptogenic facility located in Alaska, U.S on 1st August ████. Experiment 72 was labelled 'Bug' by the science team, part of the process with any transgenic experiment created in the facility. Creation of 'Bug' is the result of genetic engineering, fusing one organism extracted from the six vertebrate families in the animal kingdom. Furthermore, Bug was one of the few successfully formed without any defects internally.
Experiment 72's external appearance displayed many disfigurations all over the body, from additional ligaments to internal organs falling out of the chest cavity. Results show that Experiment 72 showns no signs of discomfort or pain with its physical imperfections, biospy on the subject is required to observe how the body operates.
Various tests on this experiment have displayed remarkable results through social interaction and mental stimulation inside a test room. Bug has displayed responding to simple questions through body language, but doesn't understand open ended or complex questions. The brain activity has a dramatic increase when it is involved with food, it is very food driven and displays a high level of prey drive on live subjects. Bug has shown signs of being unresponsive and halting any actions followed by zoning out anywhere from 5 minutes to 30 minutes, unable to state if this is an internal defect or a key function to survival.
Staff are prohibited from physically interacting with Experiment 72 after an incident with [REDACTED]. She was administered to the E.R suffering lacerations and losing her right arm, later classed deceased to blood loss. Autospy showed signs of Experiment 72's saliva secreting an anticoagulant called hirudin that stops the blood from clotting, resulting in [REDACTED]'s death. Bug displays strong aggression to others when placed in a small enclosed room, probably due to stress, further studies are required.
Test #27. A group of 22 butterflies was introduced into Experiment 72's room to study the behavior towards smaller Athropods. Activity between the two groups progressed to near cooperation, becoming a form of commensalism. The butterflies drinking Experiment 72's blood for nutrients while it seems unharmed or unbothered by it.
