Emlyn Saint-Claire

A girl who never really grew out of fairy tales, Emlyn was raised as a girl constantly pushed to grow up. Her family grew tired of her rambling and incessant 'immaturity', and was consistently bullied in school. Her only friend was the French exchange student, Raul Brodeur, who was the 'rational' side to her 'irrational'. They even tried to date for a time, but they learned that that was weird and Raul was gay.

One summer, the two spent three months straight working on a comic, which made Emlyn finally feel comfortable in her own skin to begin...getting a new one! That summer, one faithful week, she went through her Chrysalis, awakening as a Pooka, causing Raul to also awaken as a mage and alerting everyone to the two's location.

They were thankfully taken under the wing of Celestial Chorus archmage Isabella Chapelle and later Etherite Archmaster Cita Ventura, but their odd circumstances made so that, unlike most changelings, Emlyn was never Sained nor Fostered. Cita did her best and tried to teach Emlyn how to properly be a Fae, but it's a square-peg round-hole situation.

During the process of trying to make Emlyn comfortable, Cita and the people of Iter Eternis make a node for Emlyn, so that she's never out of Glamour. Because of the 'balefire' and Emlyn spending a lot of time maintaining the Chantry it was in, it made the Iter Eternis chantry a Freehold, and this commoner-kith outsider was running an entire freehold by herself.

She is mostly unbothered by the Sidhe trying to barge down the door, and makes the 'Freehold' just 'a fun place for cool fae and mages to be!'. She still does not know anything about Fae politcs. Don't tell her.
