Scrap is a idol-robot that is the rival to Bit, made by the rival company to the company that made Bit. He's often sarcastic, rude, cocky, and generally an asshole. He also has a large interest in knives, specifically switchblades, for some reason.
He was made in around early 2017 by repurposing the parts of a digital alarm clock, hence why theres one on their chest. The nobs below it adjust the time, so he is technically also a digital alarm clock... He doesn't really like that fact but he can't do much about it so whatever. ( this part makes less sense in his humanoid design , look at his og/cat robot one for context. also not entirely made out of alarm clock parts bc thatd be stupid but they basically recycled one into him bc it was neat )
The company that made Bit and the company that made Scrap used to be one big company, until the company that made Scrap seperated due to differences. Bits company stole the idea from Scraps company of an idol robot, and since they had more advanced technology, created it earlier. Scraps company was understandably mad about this so they made Scrap to be a rival to Bit and to be aggressive towards him and those that like him.While Bit specializes in being cutesy, Scraps main appeal is he's the bad one. He's a bastard. He's the heel and the rival to Bit. He does a lot of crazy shit on stage. Most of his crowd tends to be scene kids, but he doesn't mind this as Scrap really loves scene fashion. Bit is more technologically advanced while Scrap isn't, and this irritates him, but he still works well as a robot.
- him and bit have a Lot of homoerotic tension. i mean a Lot. this character was made in my head while i was listening song knife fight by lemon demon which PROBABLY doesnt help because that song is the definition of homoerotic tension. also funny because i made bit in a daydream amv while listening to touch tone telephone for the first time.
- his face is an led screen ( in normal / cat form ) but his eyes and face just work like how normal ones do in humanoid form. although maybe his eyes and all the bitscraps eyes are also like screens/2d bc its implied they can get glitched and change color but it does Not matter. also his ears and tail are kind of.. squishy???? texturewise. squishy but firm. like a cats beans ig .
- usually carrying a knife. probably collects a bunch of pretty aesthetic knives. likely has an internal knife storage so he can carry them wherever. his favorite type is switchblades
- his voiceclaim is the dude who Isnt Neil in knife fight. his names marty apparently. that guy. thats his voiceclaim.
- he has "nice" and "mean" modes. usually in "mean" mode, which is red, and nice is green. often times he wont act very nice in mean mode and often times he wont act very mean in nice mode. self-explanatory. similar to girs normal and duty mode from invader zim, somewhat.
- when turned off completely ( most times he just goes into sleep mode ) most of his red glowy parts become black except his paws and red ball-joints because those arent glowy.
- the tips of his ears are opened up and red wires come out of them
- once again any pure black part of his body ( face, inner ears, tail, alarm clock ) can change color or have an image displayed on them since theyre LED screens.
- those red things on his face are wires that act as whiskers
- his claws can retract
- any red / hot pink part of his body can also change color but it only usually changes from red to green in order to show if hes in nice or mean mode.
- optionally his arms can be grey and dark grey striped like how bits are! bc im indecisive!
