One of the only vessels capable of tasting food, they have an insatiable appetite as a result. They can eat a lot of food in one sitting, but they aren't able to actually digest it and the contents are regurgitated before ending possession so that it doesn't rot in their stomach.

- An opal-like jewel underneath their tongue serves as their core. Control range is limited and easily obstructed by walls, so Yui often must be in the same room for possession.
- They are physically very large, comparable to a hippo (though, not necessarily as girthy)
- Eyes are underdeveloped in that they're only capable of sensing the presence or absence of light, but they can still 'see' through Yui. Their sense of smell, however, is extremely well developed.
