Thérèse Dubreuil

Thérèse Dubreuil (née Aubel) is a pious and gentle woman who has become melancholic since the loss of her husband in the Great War. Thérèse is Louis’ mother and tends to be overprotective of him, picking his clothes for him and wanting to know everything about his friends. Still, she is very proud of her son's talents.

She is now at the head of the Dubreuil family, who has been the rival of the Bernard family for decades, mostly for money and religious matters. Due to the substantial inheritance she received, Thérèse doesn’t need to work and spends most of her time at home. Louis’ friends appreciate her hospitality, especially Lucien.

Thérèse is the kind of person to keep everyone in her prayers, and whenever something eventful happens in someone's life such as travelling or exams, she will know what saint to call upon. Will gladly give the associated medal or prayer card, too.
