Whiteheart

Parents

Biologically, Whiteheart's parents are Ebony and Necro. However, he thinks his biological parents are Ebony and Diesel. He has no memory of Ebony, since she was killed the day he was born, but he thinks highly of her and loves her. He was given to Summer to take care of when he was 17 days old, but he still remembers Diesel and loves him as his father. He doesn't think of Summer as his mother, but just as someone who took care of him. He doesn't really think of Obsidian as a father either, and believes that his real parents are the parents connected to him by blood.

Kithood (0-6 months)

Whiteheart was born in an alleyway in the city. Unfortunately, his mother, Ebony, was killed by Tiger not long after the litter was born. Tiger attempted to kitnap the kittens and take them to Necro's Colony, starting with Whiteheart, but was stopped by Diesel.

Diesel took care of Whiteheart, Ebon, and Gasoline for the first 17 days of their life, before giving them up to Summer when he felt like he couldn't do it anymore.

Whiteheart, Ebon, and Gasoline were renamed Duke, Countess, and Earl by Summer's owners. However, Whiteheart preferred to be called his original name instead.

Whiteheart was best friends with Sammy, one of Summer's kittens, and told him all about the world outside the house. When the two kittens were two months old, they both left the house to explore. They went into the forest instead of exploring the city, since it was a place none of them had seen. They didn't make it very far though, and were found by Obsidian. It was late, so Obsidian took the two kittens to the abandoned house in the forest he lived in, due to how unsafe it would be outside for the two kittens at night. He went to go talk to Summer by himself, but Summer didn't really want the two kits back and suggested that Obsidian kept them, so Obsidian adopted them.

For 2 months, it was just Obsidian taking care of Sammy(who was called Snake now) and Whiteheart. Then Smokey Stripes tried to steal prey from them. He snatched it and ran into a tunnel. Remembering how Obsidian didn't want them in the tunnel, Snake and Whiteheart tried running after him to warn him. The three kittens ran into Nightpouncer sitting guard, and Necro showed up as well. Necro took a special interest in Whiteheart for some reason, and tried to take him, but Obsidian showed up and fought Necro off. Obsidian, not wanting the Smokey Stripes and his brother to die of starvation, took those two kittens in as well.

When Whiteheart was around 6 months old, he, Snake, Smokey Stripes, and Thunder wanted to help Obsidian out since he was so stressed all the time, and kept leaving their home randomly to go do stuff. That is when they met Matty, Snow Hare, and Prune. They also learned more about Necro's Colony, and how they were planning on doing a dangerous ritual that could severely harm the forest they lived in.

Adolescence (7-12 months)

A lot of Whiteheart's adolescence was spent trying to help stop Necro's Colony. When he was 8 months, Snow Hare came up with a plan for Whiteheart to join Necro's Colony, and ruin Necro's plans from the inside. And because he took interest in Whiteheart, there was a high chance he'd let Whiteheart join his colony. So Whiteheart tried to join the colony, and was easily accepted. Surprisingly, Necro made Whiteheart the heir. Whiteheart learned all he could about the ritual, and reported to Snake every other day. Unfortunately, Necro found out after 3 months, and Whiteheart had to either choose to side with Snake or Necro. He chose Snake, and had to leave Necro's Colony. Luckily though, they had enough information to sabotage the ritual. All they needed now was more cats to help out.

They headed to the city to hopefully get help from Diesel. Unfortunately, when they found him, he was dead. One of the cats ranking beside Necro in Necro's Colony, Black-Eye, was waiting for them at the site of the murder, and delivered them a message from Necro. To keep their noses in their own business, or else.

After that whole fiasco, they encountered the Peace Dove Colony, who were more than happy to help against Necro's Colony. 1 month later, when the ritual took place, Whiteheart and friends joined with the Peace Dove Colony to attack Necro's Colony, and the Purr-Heart Colony cats who were there to help with the ritual. It was a success, and the ritual was stopped. Necro was beaten half to death as well, so they figured he wouldn't be able to recover to try anything again.

Adulthood (12+ months)

After Necro's defeat, things were finally peaceful! Obsidian made a colony for some colonyless cats to join, called the Obsidian Colony, and Snake was the leader of this colony. One of the new cats, a molly named Mist, became mates with Smokey Stripes. Whiteheart also liked Mist though, and snuck to be with her behind Smokey Stripes' back. This relationship was very short-lived though, so Whiteheart figured Smokey Stripes would never find out. And he probably wouldn't've, if Mist didn't get pregnant with Whiteheart's kittens, which all looked like Whiteheart. Smokey Stripes was furious, and unfriended Whiteheart. It took him a few months, but Smokey Stripes did eventually forgive Whiteheart.

8 months later, Necro came back. Turns out, when cats in your colony have healing magic, being beaten as bad as Necro was is still recoverable. He mostly came back to talk to Whiteheart, but he eventually got so furious he lost it and burnt down the abandoned house the Obsidian Colony was living in, before fleeing for another undisclosed amount of time.

Everything was peaceful again for another 8 months, until Snow, the colony heir, killed Snake. Whiteheart was devastated, and felt like he couldn't live in the colony anymore without Snake. Especially if his killer was going to be the new colony leader. Necro showed up, and convinced Whiteheart to leave the Obsidian Colony and come to Necro's Colony to be his heir. So Whiteheart did leave, and told nobody of what happened that night.

Whiteheart laid low for a few months in Necro's Colony. Necro wanted to make Whiteheart the heir again, but told him he'd have to prove his loyalty first. When Whiteheart did leave the fox den, he ran into Thunder, who was happy to see him. Thunder told him how Smokey Stripes told everyone it was probably Whiteheart who killed Snake, since Whiteheart was hunting with him that day he was killed, and went missing right after his death. But of course, Thunder didn't think it was Whiteheart! Right? Anyways, Whiteheart was not happy to hear this, and remembering how Necro wanted Whiteheart to prove his loyalty, he killed Thunder. Smokey Stripes, hearing Thunder's shriek of terror before he died, showed up and started fighting Whiteheart. Smokey Stripes was a much better fighter than Whiteheart, so if Necro hadn't shown up to help, Whiteheart would've definitely lost. They left Smokey Stripes alive, and Whiteheart was named heir when they went back to the colony.

He is very smol. This is him as a kitten, cause I didn't know what else to put in this slot because I have no AUs of him yet. It felt incomplete with nothing here, y'know?

Trivia

• He is so far from his original character from when I was in middle school, the only similar thing about him is his name and appearance.
• He was originally supposed to be a responsible, respectable, and wise cat, whose bravery inspired the cats around him, and was seen as a leader for his group.
• He originally had a sister named Burn, she was a solid chocolate molly. She was forgotten, and it is too late to remember her, so she will probably never return.
• He is one of my few cat characters from middle school whose design is exactly the same.
