Jackie

To some, there are rumors that deep in the woods lives a jackalope, soft and cuddly, but dangerous. Jackie, though not a jackalope, is the subject of these rumors thanks to her resemblance to a jackalope and rarely venturing out of the woods she resides in. She's attuned to sound and other signals of danger to protect her from being found by hunters hoping to catch a jackalope or anything similar, fleeing before they get a chance to see her.

Jackie will, however, reveal herself to those she deems are kind enough, but that can be difficult to achieve; she's easily suspicious of others. She's not shy, but she shows a soft personality and cares deeply for the nature she shares her home with. She is more likely to show herself to someone she sees being gentle to the plants and wildlife of the deep woods. Among this wildlife is a pack of wolves Jackie associates with. There was an instance where she had saved a member of the pack from a hunter's trap, which brought her into gaining their trust.

Despite being gentle, Jackie may resort to fighting if need be, whether it's to defend herself, or the forest. Her home and community means everything to her, and she'll go far to do what she can to protect it, for better or for worse.
