There's always more that you can do to improve.

A songwriter with some self-esteem issues.

Miharu is a very calm and cool person, rarely losing her composure over anything. She'll usually be somewhere in the corner of the classroom trying to write something new, or to improve one of her existing compositions. Despite Miharu's immense skill in her art, she has a bad inferiority complex, and will constantly downplay her talents whenever she is praised.

Relationships:

Davis Harrison: "Thanks for the encouragement again."

Ace Adlawan: "How is your voice that good? I love working with it!"

Hayley Lan: "No song would be complete without you."

Alinah Bookers: "You can count on us. It's the least we can do for you always coming to our performances."

Kaede Matsumiya: "You have some interesting ideas."

Miharu’s supposed to be an alternate take of Hatsune Miku in a universe where she was a normal human rather than a virtual idol and got developed way too much. Unlike her counterpart, Miharu is incredibly jaded and suffers from an inferior complex about her music, despite being incredibly skilled in songwriting, piano and guitar. This may have something to do with pressure to live up to her reputation as a musician in her school.

Miharu is the sole songwriter for a small band in her school consisting of Ace, Davis, Hayley and herself. She rotates between piano and guitar with Davis during performances.

random facts:

'Ubu' in her surname is an alternate reading of 'Hatsu' from Miku's surname, and 'miya' is a common suffix in Japanese names associated with femininity. Miharu's given name is structured in such a way that it would often be misread as 'Miku' (久 being rarely read as 'haru' and more commonly as 'ku' or 'hisa').

Miharu wasn't even considered for the story until she got developed. The current design for the school uniform was actually based off Miharu's initial design (which isn't too different except for the skirt and accent colour).
