"After venturing through several coding books, Fred used his newfound skills to create Archie (dubbed "Project Archimedes" by him), in the hopes that Archie would be able to explore fiction in ways Fred never could. Little by little, Fred wrote the code down in his journal, taking the code with him whenever he hopped to a different narrative as to not lose his progress. One day, during a narrative jump, the code itself breached containment, signaled by a sudden heavy flicker in the foundation site's electrical power. Fred never saw his precious code ever again...but Archie was alive and on the move. His code evolved with each narrative hop, turning him into the HERO he is today."

"Although not created by Fred, Archie considers Jack to be his brother due to the similarity of their abilities. Jack itself has existed for thousands of years, aiding fictional characters within ancient books, though losing the pieces of itself which it willingly gave away. If only Jack wouldn't break so easily when helping others...perhaps it could be a great hero just like him."

"Before it met its fate at the hands of Murphy, SCP-3043 rewrote a story to contain SCP-3167, which took on a life of its own. The sadistic creation was adopted by Murphy after he destroyed the typewriter, and would unfortunately became Archie's step brother when Fred got together with the detective. Archie and Gerry are simply incapable of getting along, one wanting to save fictional characters, and the other wanting to kill them. Archie has disliked his brother ever since the first time he stepped into a narrative Gerry was already invading. He had arrived too late...and being forced to watch the carnage unfold before him without any way of stopping it, sealed this deal of intense hatred."
