DEFAULT
SCP-2786 is a narrative-based, androgenous humanoid entity that has the capability to travel between fictional worlds. Once inside, SCP-2786 will integrate themselves into the plot, becoming a HERO or deus-ex machina character, and will effectively stop all bad events from occurring by rescuing or manipulating the main characters. For examples, please view
Addendum 2786-1-1A.

SCP-2786 displays symptoms of narcissistic personality disorder and has difficulty distinguishing between internal landscapes, narrative works and physical being. Due to the SCP Foundation also being a piece of fictional work, SCP-2786 was able to manifest within the facility and cause a containment breach, freeing hundreds of D-class as well as a handful of other humanoid SCPs.

Notes:
-They have selective mutism, their ability to speak depends on universe

-Can heal wounds with touch on occasion, also depending on universe
-Rarely has the ability to sprout white angel wings, depending on universe
-They should be in different outfits/art styles based on the fiction they are infiltrating
-Hair style should also change accordingly!
-Being a shapeshifter, they can appear feminine, masculine, or anywhere in between
-If infiltrating a universe of animals, they may change to become one of the dominant species
-Keep skin color, hair color, and eye color the same (so you can tell it’s still them!)
-Slight blue glitch effect may be added

CONTAINED (SCP UNIVERSE ONLY)
SCP-2786 is permanently contained within an enhanced narrative complex, after being captured while attempting to save characters in a Blu-ray copy of SAW IV. The narrative complex works by creating a fictional world for SCP-2786 to "save", and each time they complete their goal, the complex creates and forces them into a completely new narrative. This makes SCP-2786 unable to infiltrate any narratives outside of their containment.

The initial story they were placed into is set within a universe of high fantasy, utilizing many common cliches of JRPG games (being the chosen one by a high power, having to collect all pieces of a divine artifact, etc.). SCP-2786 is able to swiftly complete the tasks bestowed upon them, although takes notice of the unnervingly easy difficulty throughout their adventure, even after defeating the “final boss”.

SCP-2786 does not remain in this foundation-built story for very long. Although still trapped within the narrative complex, SCP-2786 manipulates and takes complete control over the story within after realizing they’ve been tricked.

Notes:
-Pixel them! It’s what they deserve
-JRPG/LOZ inspired backgrounds

BROKEN (SCP UNIVERSE ONLY)
SCP-2786 hits a psychological breaking point after they realize their ability to escape to another story has essentially been stripped from them. Because of this, many of their actions beyond this point (rapid shapeshifting, forced discoloration, rewriting their SCP entry to not exist) are simply harsh cries for attention and validation as a “hero”, in tandem with their narcissistic tendencies.

The story of the SCP Foundation is that of a tragedy, and in a tragedy, even the greatest of heroes can never succeed no matter how hard they struggle.

Notes:
-Black and white or sepia toned themes
-Partially pixelated or glitched appearance

FFXIV (AU)
-Gladiator/Paladin class. Also gunbreaker

-Order of the Twin Adder
-Yes to selective mutism
-Part of a Free Company that gives him the “HERO” tag next to his name because of course
-Completes literally every visible quest, joins every possible guild, very tired

-Company chocobo's name is Banana
