Fuyuko ($50 WITH JIAYI)

Fuyuko Hisakawa was a Japanese American high schooler who had trouble adjusting to the difference in culture from her Japanese home, to a completely westernized American school system. Often picked on for liking things considered 'weird' and sometimes not getting American pop culture references, paired with her sometimes tall and awkward stature, it made her a target to be picked on. When she returned home, she had a father that yelled and even beat his wife into submission. To put it plainly, Fuyuko didn't have a secure and safe childhood. Usually keeping to herself, she was able to drift along her school years in the US until she met a student named Jiayi in her freshman year of high school.

Although Jiayi was a class clown type that Fuyuko would have usually stayed away from, Jiayi approached her first and after talking they realized they had a lot of the same interests and many things in common. Quickly becoming friends, in their 10th grade year Jiayi asked Fuyuko out to which she happily accepted. When they began dating, Jiayi's support was one of her few solaces in a turbulent life.

But in her senior year, after rejection from her father's first choice university, he began to scream and hit Fuyuko too. Ashamed that her own father would do that to her, she hid as much of it as she could from everyone- including Jiayi. When she couldn't handle it anymore, she tried to kill herself without telling others. But at her last moments, she randomly received a text from her girlfriend saying how much she loved Fuyuko. All of a sudden, she realized how lucky she was to have someone in this world love her. Immediately feeling regret, yet already haven eaten all the pills, she passes out and dies in her sleep.
